What guarantee do the jewelry products have?
They have two types of coverage:
3 months for manufacturing defects, starting from the date of delivery. This does not limit your statutory warranty rights.
Lifetime guarantee on the authenticity of the expressly guaranteed material, according to the characteristics described at the time of purchase. This does not mean that the jewelry is immune to wear and tear, accidents, or damage from use.
What does the warranty cover?
This warranty may cover proven inconsistencies in the authenticity or composition of the material, manufacturing defects, and quality or operational failures for which LU JOYAS is responsible. Depending on the case, the solution may be repair, replacement, refund, or another legally permissible remedy.
What is not covered by the warranty?
Damage from fire, acids, corrosive chemicals or other agents that deteriorate the piece.
Impacts, crushing, twisting, stretching or deformation.
Modifications or repairs made by third parties.
Natural wear and tear from use.
Loss of stones or zircons due to impacts, snags, tension or improper use, when it is not a manufacturing defect.
Damage caused by not following care recommendations.
Each case is evaluated individually, and these exclusions are not used to disregard manufacturing defects or the consumer's legal rights.
My jewelry has lost its shine or changed color, is that a defect?
Not necessarily. The shine can vary due to contact with perfumes, creams, sweat, cleaning products, humidity, and other environmental conditions. Proper cleaning or professional maintenance usually restores its appearance.
Can I do an acid test to check the metal?
We don't recommend it, as it can affect the finish. If you want to verify the composition, we can advise you on appropriate analytical methods, such as spectrometry, along with their capabilities and limitations. If the piece has lost its shine after a chemical test, we can assess the possibility of a cleaning or cosmetic restoration service, and we will inform you of the service and shipping costs beforehand.
